Update - December

I wish to thank you Cicely on behalf of all our members and myself for all your help and support through the year we wouldn't have got to where we are without you. Thank you.
We all met up on Friday 25th November at The Jolly Farmers in Enfield for our Christmas Lunch a lovely meal and an enjoyable afternoon for all. Our last meeting for this year is on 20th December we shall be having a quiz a raffle and mince pies, tea and coffee, I hope that all our members will be able to join us that afternoon.

Update - November

Well Enfield you have at long last got yourself a committee. So this will be the last newsletter that I will post. I am looking forward to joining you for your Christmas Dinner at the Jolly Farmers on the 25th November. I have enjoyed getting to know you all. And what a jolly bunch you are. I know that the committee are busy getting a programme ready for next year. So on that note I wish you and your committee every success for the future.

Update - September

Enfield has its first meeting on Tuesday 20th September 2 o clock After the Summer break. We are currently taking bookings for our Christmas Dinner at the Jolly Farmers on the 25th November. Do come and join us. We recently went on a trip around the Olympic sights which included a meal. A really good day was had by all. Do come along and join us. A warm welcome is waiting for you.

First Meeting on March 22nd

Enfield had its first meeting at St Andrews Church hall Market Place Silver Street Enfield EN1 3EG. On the 22nd March 42 people attended. They had a quiz which was enjoyed by all. Tea and coffee was served and lots of catching up with old friends, making new ones as well. Two trips were offered to them and a reasonable number of people responded to that. So these trips will be happening. One is to the Londons Docklands Museum. Sainsbury's have their archive there. And the other is the Olympic Tour. See the listing on Enfield Events pages for details. Next month on the 19th April Sheila Parker Will be coming to Speak to us about here time in the Rock n Roll years. So please do come along and join us.
